So much has been happening lately, and I have been swamped with work and personal life, and I apologize for my silence as I tried to work through it all.
The pace in which events happen, and in which stories and narratives are presented, is incredible, and that points at something important: the status quo has been broken.
Let’s look at a few examples.
3 weeks ago the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, called the construction of a military base in the Solomon Islands by China ‘a red line’ for both Australia AND the US.
"We will not have Chinese naval bases in our region on our doorstep," Morrison said. According to Australian Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce, the creation of a Chinese base will be regarded by Canberra as a "scare tactic".
"Obviously for the Solomons, I take their word but I say be really careful to invite a totalitarian power into your country because it's going to affect your sovereignty."
Did they just admit that Russia’s claim about NATO bases with nuclear weapons and rockets near her borders to be fully reasonable?
On a side note on Cognitive Warfare, Robert Epstein, senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology in California, made some incredible claims.
In an interview with the Epoch Times, he described the very powerful manipulation we are under.
His starting point was the ranking in search results, and how important it was to be on that first page, for a company.
“Well, if people are so trusting of high ranking search results, could search results be used to change people’s opinions?” “Could they even be used maybe to change their votes, their voting preferences?”
So Dr. Epstein did a series of randomized, controlled, counterbalanced, double blind experiments, adhering to the very highest standards of scientific research. In one such experiment, he thought he could sway votes between his 2 groups by a few percent, but the result showed a shift in voter preference of more than 40%, in another experiment with more than 60%.
What is it about?
“They’re brief experiences that we have online. In fact, most of the experiences we have online are ephemeral that affect us, like a newsfeed is flashed before our eyes, or some search results or some search suggestions, or all kinds of things. A sequence of YouTube videos, a suggestion for which video to watch next, they affect us, they disappear, they’re stored nowhere and they’re gone.
It’s the ideal form of manipulation. People have no idea they’re being manipulated, number one, and number two, authorities can’t go back in time to see what people were being shown. In other words, how they were being manipulated, so as it happens, the experiments I’ve been doing for a very long time, now almost a decade, that’s what they’re all about.”
The results, he states, are the largest in a 100 years of studies in behavioral science.
“These are among the largest effects ever discovered in the behavioral and social sciences in more than a hundred years that, in fact, people in my field have been looking for new kinds of influence. These are crazy big effects. So that’s one thing that makes them scary, but that’s not all, they’re scary because people are generally unaware that they’re being influenced.”
And he concludes:
“And most of all, they’re scary because they’re controlled almost exclusively by four American tech companies. Now put that all together, now you’ve got something that’s frightening, because you have sources of influence controlled by really a handful of executives who are not accountable to any public, not the American public, not any public anywhere, they’re only accountable to their shareholders.”
This has gone mostly unnoticed, but it is absolutely important. (Read the full interview on the link I provided, it is full of other incredible facts).
What Dr. Epstein describes, is fully in line with what I wrote about Cognitive Warfare, but from a different angle: specifically the influence of news stories and how they shape perception.
Why do you think the fight about Twitter is so important, and why it is so hard fought, with such bitter passion? Because of the incredible power of control it provides! Given the place of google in all this, as a still very central player, I would expect sooner rather than later to see some action about their position in influencing in elections and such to surface, either to expose what is happening, or to curb their near monopoly on news and search data.
If such ‘algorithmic influence’ is not on purpose, but simply a side effect of their AI doing what it was designed, namely picking one site over another, based on a determination which is ‘best’.
Interestingly, he finds that the scariest possibility:
“The reason why, to me, that’s the scariest possibility is because that means that a computer program is picking the winners of elections, or is picking what dog food we buy or is picking what we should think. That’s very scary, because computer programs are really, really, really stupid.”
The other option, of course, is willed influencing, a group, outside of any oversight and democratic authority, decides who should win or lose elections…
But he offers this solution:
“This is the solution, which is permanent, large-scale monitoring, 24 hours a day in all 50 states, doing to them what they do to us and our kids. If we do it to them, if we monitor, we capture, we archive, and we expose, then they will stay out of our lives. They’ll still make a fortune, they’ll still make a lot of money, but they will give us back our free and fair election.”
Sounds familiar? It is what our recourse is when it comes to the actual voting, as well, as 2000 mules indicates. But how do you spread the news about Google manipulating the whole world? Even elections? Google won’t place those articles and news flashes on their first page, if at all… Nor will any of the other big tech companies…
This unfolds yet another aspect of the importance of this awakening to the all-encompassing Cognitive Warfare that we find ourselves in, a new front that is so frighteningly uncharted, that pioneers on different terrains are exploiting that ignorance to maximum effect.
In light of this story, the Twitter Saga. Before Elon raised the question of bots as a potential deal breaker, many bot farms were being deleted, and people reported losing thousands and tens of thousands of likes and followers. People are sheep, in that when they see a post with 124k likes, they are pre-conditioned to think that must be a good or true post, and accept more readily what it says…
This was a public secret, but Elon has fully blown off the lid, linking it to actual crimes (false files by Twitter, companies paying ad money based on inflated numbers, share-holders who are cheated by their boards, etc.).
More on big tech, in case you missed it, an amazing article in the Intercept on a phone tracking firm, Anomaly Six, and the incredible surveillance power of tracking cell phone pings through the many apps that enable them. We only saw the tip of the iceberg with 2000 mules, and their solving of an actual murder (or the proposed investigation in the death of Seth Rich, the DNC worker who got shot in broad daylight). It makes the attempt by fact checkers to dismiss 2000 mules because ‘cell phone tracking is not accurate enough’ one of the most ill-informed.
When you’re at it, also check this article by Cognitive Carbon on this topic:
Still on big tech: You will see headlines such as this: “Ukraine is winning the Information War against Russia”. Not true, actually, Big tech is winning that war, as they determine which stories will or will not appear, and where. So just as Ukraine won the Eurovison Song Festival (where some countries, i.e. Romania, claim their judges’ scores were falsified to favor Ukraine), based on ‘wave of goodwill’, as the media portrays it, they simply win because they are ‘made’ to win. Claiming that Ukraine had the best song, or the best info war capabilities, is simply laughable. They themselves are not winning much, as far as I can see.
As a positive counter: people see the manipulation, and mock it openly. Even in Europe itself, despite the massive onslaught of propaganda. (Funny how I cannot ‘google’ those cartoons, no trace to be found! Should have saved them when I saw them!)
There is no massive wave of popular goodwill, as the much more real wave of Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Europe, and are starting to cause problems.
(And it exposes a major double standard by the EU, as well, when it comes to refugees…)
With them, they also bring their accepted nazi ideology…
Too funny: the Azov battalion in Azovstal surrenders, yet the media in the US and Europe talk about ‘evacuate’. Interesting how the capturing of soldiers by their opponents is called ‘evacuating’…
https://fb.watch/d4b5ioMgvJ/
Look at the armored vehicle that is guarding the buses with Azov soldiers: with a big, Russian Z painted on it. It is delusional to call this such, and then show that video.
And it leads to hilarious comments, such as this, here by the Ukrainian ‘winners’ of the Eurovision Song Festival:
And at least 3 ex-presidents of Ukraine have called the World Leaders to save the soldiers in Azovstal. Why are they so important? What is going on there?
Perhaps the evidence that Russia released about American activity in Ukrainian bioweapon labs, pointing at a veterinary clinic that was used to camouflage storage and production of harmful substances.
Then you have the new shooting in Buffalo, horrific. Of course, calls galore about gun control and white supremacy.
For example:
But this could not be more wrong: this is what happens when you suddenly makes saints and angels about ‘your’ Nazi’s, and defend them at all costs.
They are also a good recruiting base to get your dirty work done. I have shown earlier their involvement in the January 6 events in DC, but there is also this another direct link, this time reaching all the way to this Buffalo shooting:
On Russian armored vehicles and tanks, from a post on Telegram by the Russian centered ASB Military News:
“Video appears to show an Average Ukrainian man finding a tank with human remains and “eats the russian” as some sort of revenge. He says “I’m gonna be the first one who ate a russian soldier. I don’t think that’s a bad feat.” He cooks the meat and eats it. The only problem is— that tank is Ukrainian.
Ukrainians have been defending this guy online and some argued this should be normalized.”
I will spare you the video that went with it.
The incredible intensity of this psychological war is having a lot more negative side effects than our leaders care to admit. This is one of them, the result of incessant demonizing and dehumanizing of Russians. Do we really want to descend into such a hellish dystopian world where this is normalized, at best not countered?
But this brings me to another point.
The data that the team True the Vote, behind the 2000 Mules documentary on ballot stuffing, is releasing, is powerful as well. As I said: truth is the best antidote against manipulation.
Seth Keshel wrote a very interesting article 74 Harvesting and Mule Rings: Where They Were, How They Did It, And The Impact - Our Work is Now Corroborated, where he uses that information to corroborate his own studies and findings regarding fraud, coming from a very different angle. But the fact that he can corroborate his own findings this way, lends so much more credibility and power to the data that he and True the Vote have opened up!
He wrote: “I have identified at least 74 *MAJOR* mule rings based on the findings from 2000 Mules, corroborated with the national map of "excess votes" I released last summer.”
Interesting data doesn’t stop there, there is a lot more:
Netflix is losing 74% of it’s stock price, and what does Netflix do? Send a memo to all their employees to warn them the woke circus that shamelessly pressed pedo-normalizing movies is over.
“If you’d find it hard to support our content breadth, Netflix may not be the best place for you,” the memo states, later adding that employees may be required to work on projects that they “perceive to be harmful” and that if they have a hard time accepting their work assignment, they might want to consider working somewhere else.'
'“We support the artistic expression of the creators we choose to work with” and “we let viewers decide what’s appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices."'
With that in mind, Bezos, of all people, is openly criticizing Biden, multiple times!
““You want to bring down inflation?” asked U.S. President Joe Biden in a Friday evening tweet. “Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”
Amazon’s founder faulted the president’s reasoning and called him out in a tweet.
“The newly created Disinformation [Governance] Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead,” Bezos commented on his Twitter account. “Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”
Or this major PR firm that advises major corporations such as Coco Cola, Netflix and Starbucks to avoid commenting on the whole SCOTUS case regarding abortion. To not even mention abortion rights or women’s rights, at all! It did so as they warn that the media will demand they (their clienst) take a stand on those issues (of course, in line with the extreme leftist positions).
The PR firm, Zeno, warns corporations that inquiries from the media about reproductive rights should be ignored to avoid attracting attention: "[B]eing at the center is not advisable"
This explains the relative silence on this topic, and how the astroturfing on the left is completely falling flat. They did not count on that sudden loss of free corporate advertising and influencing, that is for sure! It also shows how important that is to shape narratives, to give it the appearance of widespread protest, of social importance, even if it is absolutely NOT the case!
Another point to consider: why are those companies, Netflix Zeno, Bezos, now taking such positions? I think a major paradigm shift has happened, that favors the conservative values. The big companies have realized, or are in the painful process of coming to grips with this reality, that carrying water for the left is a very expensive activity that goes against their corporate interests. They see how untouchable companies get hammered: Disney, for example, at the hands of the Florida Governor, DeSantis, or Netflix. The common thread is clear. Do not push the extreme agenda, people are no longer taking it, and are using their power of the purse to full effect. The boards might be staffed with spineless people or full on activists, but their shareholders don’t care, and they see the writing on the wall. Enough is enough.
Elon Musk also continues to red-pill, this time by openly stating he’d vote Republican, for the first time:
The normalizing impact that has, is not to be underestimated. Not among the hard-left, of course, but there are plenty of normies who remember the media stories praising Elon, not that long ago.
Today, Hulu announced it dumped a movie on Hillary Clinton they had been working on already for 2 years. What is going on? It keeps on coming!
I am telling you: a paradigm shift is happening, and we see the first signs. As is to be expected, among the financial world, who could not care less about politics, but are bound to their shareholders. They notice this shift among the culture and the people first. The rest surely will follow.
I want to end with a last reference, to a substack article by Larry. It is called From the Moon to Woodstock, subtitled ‘Everyone thinks the end is near. But are they right?’
In it, he starts with a mention of a recent article by Victor Davis Hanson (as Larry describes him, one of our more astute social/political critics). Larry introduces Mr. Hanson by stating that “because of his long view from Greek times, he is [usually] one of the more reliable commentators in not buying into the “sky is falling” narrative. Not today. In "The Last Days of the Republic", Hanson’s piece in the Daily Signal today, he argues
“Americans are now entering uncharted, revolutionary territory. They may witness things over the next five months that once would have seemed unimaginable.”
It is true that with a cabal that is being pushed on the defensive on many sides, with the election fraud being exposed at increasing rate, Durham surfacing and starting his first trial, a great awakening happening with many people realizing they are under a spell, and waking up from it, companies no longer carrying out the orders to spread their propaganda, etc. And when an animal is cornered, it is at it’s most dangerous.
But let us not lose heart, so close to our goal, out of a misplaced fear or carefulness.
It is with this magnificent exhortation Larry ended his article, to offset the fear in that article by Mr. Hanson, that is very fitting to end my collection of ‘in case you missed this’ from the last week or so:
“I constantly urge my readers to not be McClellans. You know, the Civil War Union general who constantly dawdled, delayed, and lost valuable time and position because in his own eyes he was outnumbered (when, in fact, he outnumbered his enemy).”
All is well.
