Qualitative and quantitative differences, a quick primer
Understanding what is happening, so we can react the best way possible
I think I need to add a small point, in conjunction with my previous article A watershed moment.
When I talk about quantitative and qualitative differences, those two terms each point at a very different reality.
This is so much more than silly semantics.
One cannot simply equate qualitative and quantitative.
Quantitative is about a difference in number, or ‘how much’. Qualitative is about a difference in type or nature.
Imagine this: you are back in high school, and met this fantastic girl. Smart, athletic, really pretty, very sweet and caring, and guess what, she’s interested in you, too!
Problem is, your dad doesn't allow you to date. AT ALL. He’s very strict about that. “No son, now your duty in life is to study, and get ready for being on your own two feet. Girls will only distract you from that!”
You clash with your dad, as you try to argue your case.
But today he says "Ok, fine. You can go out with that girl, but only once a week, and you have to be back by 8pm!".
That is a SMALL quantitative shift. He only gives you 2-3 hrs, after your homework only, of course, to be with this girl, and only once a week!
But is also a HUGE qualitative shift, from not being allowed, at all, to now being allowed, even if only for a short time, once a week!
You might think that is barely any better than not being allowed at all, but if so, you miss how much that apparently small step meant for your dad.
He capitulated.
You won.
Now don't ruin it by being greedy.

So apply that to my previous article. There might no perceptible decrease in the trans-agenda. Woke society is going full steam ahead. The elements pushing back are still small. No one is in jail for election fraud.
True. But be careful now: don’t try to capture or define a qualitative change with quantitative measures!
If you see top PR firms advise top businesses NOT to mingle in the culture war, that is a qualitative change.
If you see a sports team have a Pride Month event, but allows 5 players to opt out, and DEFEND them, and then have the press titles be factual, and not judgmental or attacking, that is a qualitative change.
If you see election fraud suddenly being talked about, as a proven fact, and you see actual arrests, even on small scale of the lowest level, that is a qualitative change.
Take it. Before you know it, (especially once he meets your girl!) dad will let you go out every day.
And before you know it, the small fries that were arrested start talking up a storm, literally, and implicate the higher-ups. Who will get arrested. And start talking. Etc.
The big companies no longer support the woke agenda, so the illusion of majority support for such drastic changes is evaporating, and with that illusion, the actual support. You will start seeing people take an open stand in the opposite direction, again, as well!
This is only beginning. But the shift, is a shift in nature. The culture war is won, even if all battles aren’t fought yet (some battles are only beginning: we have to reconquer lost terrain, and re-educate people on proper thinking, proper morals, proper attitudes!).
Still, the people are no longer mindlessly walking along with the woke bullies. They are increasingly awake to those scare tactics that force people to comply, and they are starting to resist.
And from this cultural awakening, comes also the political awakening.
For that, you can thank the Leftists, who made EVERYTHING about Politics. Even who you sided with in Depp vs. Heard, believe it or not. So now that the left are losing the culture war because they were too greedy, and wanted too much in too little time, and pushed people too far (in particular once they openly started to target the children in schools and in drag strip clubs), the people are drawing policital conclusions, as well.
I’d say: sit back and enjoy that implosion, but don’t.
Go out. Vote. Talk with your neighbors or coworkers. Volunteer in your local communities. Take a stand. Let yourself be heard.
Don’t be afraid anymore, for we are the majority, and we are increasingly waking up to that fact.
All is well.
Arn, thank You!👏🙏
